An iconic natural landmark. A place of deep cultural significance to the regions First Peoples.

The brief from Destination Gold Coast was to create a film that respectfully increases awareness of the Indigenous culture of the region and also helps change misconceptions around the depth of experiences that visitors and locals can immerse themselves in.

To bring this to life we focused on an iconic natural landmark wedged right in the middle of Gold Coast suburbia and encouraged the thousands of people that drive past it, walk around it and swim beneath it every day to look at it differently. To see it as a spiritual place with deep indigenous significance.

The film has been endorsed by the Yugambeh Region Aboriginal Corporation Alliance, was recently awarded for Film Craft Direction at the Brisbane Advertising and Design Club Awards and received a prestigious Gold ACS Award for cinematography.
